Work in Canada

Canada offers several work permit pathways, each with its own eligibility rules, employer obligations, and compliance requirements. We help workers, graduates, spouses, employers, and companies identify the right pathway and coordinate the supporting documents.

01

Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP)

Graduates from eligible Canadian institutions may be able to apply for a Post-Graduation Work Permit, subject to current eligibility rules. A PGWP can help graduates gain Canadian work experience and may support future permanent residence planning. We assist with eligibility review, status timing, document preparation, and file coordination.

Spousal Open Work Permit

Spouses or common-law partners of certain workers or students may be eligible for an open work permit, depending on the principal applicant’s status, program, occupation, and current policy requirements. We help families review eligibility and prepare evidence of relationship, status, employment, and supporting circumstances.

Bridging Open Work Permit (BOWP)

A Bridging Open Work Permit may allow eligible permanent residence applicants to continue working in Canada while their PR application is in process. We support clients with timing review, eligibility, acknowledgement documentation, and status-continuity planning.

LMIA-Based Work Permit

An LMIA-based work permit usually requires an employer to obtain a positive Labour Market Impact Assessment before the worker applies for a work permit. We assist employers and workers with document organization, job-offer details, and work permit preparation through authorized professionals.

International Mobility Program (IMP)

The International Mobility Program includes work permit categories that may be LMIA-exempt, including certain trade agreement categories, significant benefit situations, intra-company transfers, and other public-policy or regulatory exemptions. We help clients review whether an LMIA-exempt pathway may apply.
